Welcome to Sage Awakening
My name is Crystal. I am a Certified Holistic Practitioner, Transformational Healer and Spiritual Counselor located in downtown Polson. I offer an individualized holistic approach to meet your personal journey of healing and growth, because different energies require different focus. Every body, mind and spirit has a story that is theirs alone, a unique journey and it’s the way we process this journey that creates who we are, depending on which path we follow. There is empowerment through healing, but there is no one-size-fits-all process. You can send me a request for more information by visiting my Contact page, or schedule a Free Consultation to meet and chat, in my office or over the phone.
“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”~ Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
As humans, we are often confined within a box of structure and protocol, a framework designed to create order but one that frequently restricts the deeper, vital communication our spiritual selves crave. Inside this box, the expression of feelings, the validation of inner experiences is too often neglected. This is the language of the spirit. It’s not the failure of our teachers or mentors, many of whom themselves lack the tools to navigate and honor their own emotional landscapes.
There are entire generations denied the freedom to process their thoughts and emotions, causing disruption within the nervous system and a disconnection of autonomic communication between the mental and physical. This in turn causes somatic processing difficulties, such as chronic pain held in the body from unreleased, unprocessed, or even misprocessed thoughts and emotions. It often defines how we feel, how we process, how we define ourselves and the world around us. It even changes the energy we carry within us and how others see us and feel around us. This damage within the nervous system is passed down, making it harder for the next generation of nervous systems to regulate effectively. This is part of generational trauma.
Our society tends to offer quick fixes: band-aids on the somatic symptoms of grief and trauma, medications to quiet the negative thoughts and feelings that actually call out for compassionate attention and safe processing. Yet, healing does not come from avoidance or suppression, it means engaging with these tangled energies of knotted emotion and thought that loop endlessly in our minds, working through them gently and carefully.
It’s hard to know what you need, and even harder to talk about how you feel, so how would you know where to start? We start by seeking out others with energies we feel comfortable with- like attracts like. Listen to your gut, the little poke from the spirit guiding you in the direction of growth.
